I offer individual therapy to adults living in Massachusetts.* I currently offer in-person office-based therapy, in-person walking ("walk and talk") therapy, and Telehealth therapy. I can make accommodations for clients interested in meeting outdoors for whom an hour-long walk is inaccessible. I generally see clients on a weekly or biweekly basis, but I can see clients on a monthly basis when requested.
My approach draws from modalities and philosophies including Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Somatics. My therapy practice is trauma-informed, anti-racist, and welcoming of people with all gender and sexual identities. I am particularly passionate about offering therapy to people seeking support nurturing mental health while active in anti-racist social movements, people living with anxiety, and people living with chronic pain. However, I would be honored to support you in your journey toward mental health and wellness, whatever challenges you may be facing.
Prior to working as a therapist, I spent six years working as a social worker supporting unhoused community members and older adults in the Boston area. I am active within Boston area anti-racist struggles and understand my work as a therapist as part of a commitment to advancing these struggles, rather than separate from it.
*Because I am licensed by the state of Massachusetts, I am able to provide therapy only to people who reside in Massachusetts. The territory that the United States government refers to as "Massachusetts" exists upon the unceded lands of the Wampanoag, Massachusett, Pawtucket, Agawam, Nipmuk, Pokanoket, Nauset, Pennacook, Wabanaki, N'dakina, Pocumtuk, Mohican, Schaghticoke, and other Indigenous peoples. Those of us who are not members of these Indigenous tribes, nations, and confederacies are settlers on this land, and we have a responsibility to work toward the complete return of the land we are on to its rightful peoples.
